2008 Meet The Saints Luncheon set for August 22

The Touchdown Club of New Orleans will host the 41st Annual “Meet the Saints Luncheon” on Friday, August 22, 2008 at the New Orleans Sheraton. The doors for the luncheon will open at 11:00 a.m. and lunch will be served promptly at noon.
The luncheon will give fans an opportunity to enjoy lunch with the players, coaches, and key front office personnel. The program will include the introduction of each player by master of ceremonies, Jim Henderson and a special awards presentation by Head Coach Sean Payton.
The attire for the luncheon is business casual. Tickets for the event are $42.00 per person or $420.00 for a table of ten and are assigned on a first come basis. For ticket information please visit www.tdcno.org or call (504) 242-4545.
The Touchdown Club of New Orleans functions as a registered non-profit organization. Profits from the yearly events are returned to the New Orleans community. Through the years the efforts of the club have yielded donations to various non-profit organizations, including the Ray Hester Cancer Research Fund through the Ochsner Clinic Foundation, as well as a significant scholarship to the University of New Orleans.
The aims and objectives are “to be the best fan club and social organization that promotes and creates spirit and enthusiasm among friends, family and the community connected to the New Orleans Saints; “Football, Family, Fun.” In order to achieve their goals the clubs promotes various functions throughout the year, but are mostly active during the pro football season.
