PRO CAREER - First signed by New Orleans 8/2/07 after spending brief period of Spring 2007 after NFL Draft with Denver Broncos and played in preseason before being waived at the end of training camp…Spent all of the 2007 and 2008 seasons on the New Orleans practice squad. Signed by the Philadelphia Eagles to their practice squad for the 2008 postseason and later re-signed with the Saints.

COLLEGE - Was a two-year starter at right guard at Auburn who made a rapid adjustment to the offensive side of the ball after originally beginning his college career as a defensive tackle…Known for his overall strength and solid initial pop on contact, he teamed with 2007 NFL First Round Draft Choice Ben Grubbs to form what Southeastern Conference coaches felt was one of the best guard tandems in the country…Duckworth enrolled at Auburn in 2003, seeing action in 10 games as a reserve defensive tackle…He recorded 12 tackles (10 solo) with two sacks, three stops for losses of 12 yards and blocked a kick…In 2004 spring camp, he lined up at nose guard, but before the season opener, he shifted to the offensive line…He appeared in 10 games that season as a reserve guard…In 2005, he took over right guard duties, starting 10 games…He earned All-Southeastern Conference second-team honors during his first year as a starter…Duckworth repeated as an All-SEC second-team choice by the media, but added first-team honors from the league's coaches in 2006…Started 12 games, sitting out the Tulane contest with a knee sprain.

PERSONAL - Duckworth was a two-way lineman at Taylorsville (Miss.) HS…The PrepStar All-American was a four-year starter on the offensive line…He earned Clarion-Ledger all-state honors…As a senior, he tallied 52 tackles, seven sacks, two fumble recoveries and caused a fumble…He also registered more than 30 knockdowns on offense that year…In addition to starring in football, Duckworth also played center on the basketball team...Born Sept. 14, 1982.
