NFL CAREER – A veteran cornerback who ranks among the league-leaders in longevity and production, Glenn brought an impressive résumé with him to New Orleans when he signed with the Saints as an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Having played in 201 career regular-season games (175 starts), the three-time Pro Bowler enters his 15th NFL season fifth among active players with 41 interceptions (trailing only Darren Sharper-53, Ty Law-52, Champ Bailey-42 and Sammy Knight-42), and tied for third having returned six of those picks for touchdowns. The former first-round pick of the New York Jets in 1994 joins the Black-and-Gold secondary after spending his first eight seasons with the Jets, three seasons with the Houston Texans, two as a Dallas Cowboy, and last season in Jacksonville with the Jaguars. Over his tenure, he has amassed 654 tackles (526 solo), along with 166 pass defenses, five forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. In addition to the six interceptions returned for touchdowns, he has also scored on a 104-yard missed field goal return and brought back a kickoff 96 yards to give him eight scores for his career. Glenn has also played in four career playoff games, notching nine postseason tackles.

2007 – Played in five games for Jacksonville, starting four, and tallied 19 tackles (13 solo), three pass defenses and one interception, which he returned 28 yards for a touchdown…Made five tackles and grabbed his lone interception of the year at Tampa Bay, Oct. 28. The pick was his 41st career INT and extended his streak of seasons with at least one interception to 13…Posted a season-high eight tackles (five solo) from his starting right cornerback spot at New Orleans, Nov. 4…Inactive for both of the Jaguars’ postseason games. 2006 – Played in all 16 games for Dallas as the team’s nickel corner, notching 20 tackles, six pass defenses and one interception…At Tennessee, Oct. 1, made his only interception of the season and the 40th of his career, picking off Vince Young. Also had a tackle and broke up a pass…Made his only start of the season the following week in a win at Carolina, Oct. 29, when Cowboys opened the game with three corners. Had two tackles and helped limit Carolina to 128 net passing yards…Made a season-high five tackles at N.Y. Also made five tackles and had two pass defenses…Notched his lone interception of the season at Indianapolis, Oct. 5. 1996 – Started 16 games at left cornerback and made 48 tackles with 14 pass defenses and four interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns…At Miami, Sept. 15, he intercepted Dan Marino on fourth-and-goal and returned it 100 yards for a touchdown…Registered six tackles, three pass defenses and an interception against New England, Nov. 10…Picked off a pass against Philadelphia Dec. 14 and returned it 13 yards for a touchdown. 1995 – Opened all 16 games for the Jets and made 63 tackles, along with a career-high 17 pass defenses, an interception, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery…Made a season-high nine tackles and broke up two passes against Miami, Oct. 22…Made his first career interception against Seattle, Nov. 26, when he stepped in front of a Rick Mirer pass in the first quarter. 1994 – Selected 12th overall in the NFL Draft after the Jets traded their first- (13th overall) and fifth-round picks to New Orleans to move up…Started 15 games at left cornerback and made 69 tackles with 13 pass defenses and two forced fumbles…Earned All-Rookie honors from Football News and College & Pro Football Newsweekly…Ranked ninth in the AFC with 21.6 yards per kickoff return…Made a career-high 10 tackles against San Diego, Dec. 18.

COLLEGE – Two-time All-America and All-Southwest Conference selection for Texas A&M, where he played defensive back and returned punts…Left A&M as the school’s all-time leader in passes defensed in a season (20), season punt-return average (19.9), and punt return yards in a game (131)…Earned first-team All-America honors and was a consensus All-SWC pick as a senior after making 27 tackles, 13 pass deflections, and three interceptions…Also led the nation with 19.9 yards per punt return, which broke the school record of 16.1 set in 1951…As a junior, he made six interceptions and earned second-team All-America honors as well as first-team All-SWC and SWC Newcomer of the Year honors…Also set a conference and school record with 20 pass breakups and went eight consecutive games without allowing a reception…Transferred to Texas A&M from Navarro (Texas) Junior College, where he earned All-America and All-Conference honors as a sophomore.

PERSONAL – Glenn established the Aaron Glenn Foundation, which hosts the Red Hot and Jazzy Gala and Tee It Up Golf Tournament to award scholarships to minority students at Texas A&M and Candlelighters…He was the Texans’ 2002 NFL spokesman for the United Way of Texas Gulf Coast…He has also participated in the NFL/United Way Hometown Huddle and modeled in the Texans Style Show to benefit Family Services of Houston and the Houston Texans Foundation…In 2002, the Houston Quarterback Club named Glenn the Texans Player of the Year…Majored in kinesiology at Texas A&M…As a senior at Nimitz (Humble, Texas) HS, gained over 1,000 rushing yards and over 200 receiving yards and made seven interceptions to earn all-state and all-district honors…Also lettered in basketball and track for Nimitz…The seventh of 11 children, Glenn and his wife, Devaney, have a son, Aaron II, and two daughters, Tristen and Rheagan.
