NFL CAREER – A year after giving an indication of his potential, Moore took his career to a new level in 2008, quickly becoming one of the Saints' top weapons on offense and leading the club in catches, yards and receiving touchdowns. Last season the fleet-footed wide receiver started six of 16 games and set career-highs with 79 catches for 928 yards and 10 touchdowns. Moore tied for 15th in the NFL in catches and fifth in the league in TD grabs. A study in perseverance, Moore's career took flight after spending the majority of 2005-06 on the practice squad and playing in all 16 games for the first time in 2007, when he had 32 catches. He's also served as a punt returner and kick returner during his time in New Orleans. For his career, the versatile performer has 112 receptions for 1,240 yards (11.1 avg.) with 12 touchdowns, in addition to two carries for seven yards and another TD. Moore has also returned 18 kickoffs for 354 yards (19.7 avg.) and 32 punts for 270 yards (8.4 avg.).

2008 – Played in all 16 games, with a career-high six starts, and became the club's most consistent target over the course of the season…Registered only three catches for 24 yards in the first two contests, then caught fire over the last 14 games, finishing with a team-high 79 catches for 928 yards (11.7 avg.) and 10 TDs…Set a club record with a scoring grab in five-straight contests (10/26-11/30) and also posted three multi-TD games…Had at least five catches in 10 of final 14 contests…After seven-catch, 78-yard day at Denver, Sept. 21, hauled in seven catches for 101 yards and a pair of TDs vs. San Francisco the next week…Tallied 97 yards on seven grabs vs. Oakland, Oct. 12…Started TD streak vs. San Diego, hauling in six catches for 90 yards and a touchdown, and would reach the end zone in the next four games…Posted back-to-back 100-yard performances, including a season-high eight catches for 102 at Kansas City and five grabs for career-high 115 yards vs. Green Bay, Nov. 24, with a 70-yard catch-and-run for a score…Closed season with eight receptions for 91 yards and a pair of fourth-quarter TDs vs. Carolina, Dec. 28. 2007 – Played in all 16 games for the first time in his career, including his first four starts…Had 32 catches to rank sixth on team for 302 yards (9.4 avg.), and two TDs…Led club with 20 punt returns for 185 yards, with a long of 48, with 9.8 avg. ranking 11th in NFL…At Indianapolis, Sept. 6, averaged 21.7 yards on three kick returns, including a long of 30, and added a 30-yard punt return…Hauled in six catches for 54 yards vs. Tennessee, Sept. 24, and added three kick returns for 54 yards…Had three grabs for 35 yards at Seattle, Oct. 14. Added a seven-yard TD on his first career rushing attempt for his first NFL touchdown while making the initial start of his career…Oct. 21 vs. Atlanta, had a career-long 48-yard punt return…Hauled in three passes for 26 yards vs. Jacksonville, Nov. 4, including the first TD reception of his career, an eight-yard grab. 2006 – Saw action on special teams and at wide receiver at Green Bay, Sept. 17 and had two punt returns for 28 yards, including a 25-yard burst… Waived, Oct. 29 and resigned to practice squad the next day. 2005 – Promoted from practice squad to active roster, Nov. 16…Declared inactive for three games before waived and resigned to practice squad…Went to camp with Cleveland before being waived and signed by Saints to practice squad, Sept. 26.

COLLEGE – Had 4,146 all-purpose yards at Toledo and set school records with 222 receptions for 2,776 yards and 25 TDs in 50 career games from 2001-04…Gained 902 yards on 42 kick returns and 399 yards and a pair of TDs on punt returns…Only player in Toledo history to gain over 1,000 yards receiving twice and set a school season mark with 14 touchdown grabs as a senior…All-Mid American Conference selection his final two seasons.

PERSONAL – Majored in business…Attended Westerville South (Ohio) HS…Set state high school records for receptions (103) and touchdown catches (24) as a senior…Full name is Lance Andrew Moore…Allocated to Berlin Thunder in Spring of 2006…Brother, Nick, was also a standout wide receiver at Toledo and was named second-team All-MAC as a senior in 2008 before signing with Minnesota Vikings…Born in Columbus, Ohio.
