NFL CAREER – A native of the New Orleans area, Green returns to his hometown for an opportunity to compete for a roster spot at receiver and kick returner. Formerly a fourth-round draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2005, he has played in nine games with the Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals over two seasons, catching three passes for 33 yards and averaged 19.7 yards on three kickoff returns and 4.6 on 14 punt returns. The former LSU star split the 2007 season between the Bengals’ active roster and practice squad.

2007 – Split the year between the Bengals’ active roster and practice squad, playing in seven games, catching three passes for 33 yards, had one rush for one yard, returned three kickoffs for an average of 19.7 yards and averaged 4.2 yards on nine punt returns…Had an 18-yard catch on Sept. 16 at Cleveland and two catches for 15 yards on Sept. 23 at Seattle...Inactive for Game 8...Waived on Nov. 5, and signed Nov. 7 to Bengals practice squad. 2006 – Signed Oct. 13 to Dallas active roster from practice squad… Made his NFL regular-season debut Oct. 15 vs. Houston, with three punt returns for 1.7-yard average…Saw action in Nov. 5 at Washington, averaging 10.5 yards on two punt returns and 19.7 yards on three kickoff returns…Waived on Dec. 7, re-signed to Dallas roster on Dec. 11, and waived again Dec. 14…Acquired by Bengals on waivers on Dec. 15…Inactive for Cincinnati in Games 14-16.

COLLEGE – Played 44 games over four seasons (2002-05) at LSU, and finished career with school-record four touchdowns on punt returns…Compiled 1,064 career yards on 77 punt returns (13.8 avg.), and also had 792 yards on 38 kickoff returns (20.8)…Had 111 career receptions for 1,129 yards (10.2) and nine touchdowns…Added 31 rushes for 258 yards (8.3) with one score…Top season for scrimmage yards was ’03 sophomore year, when he played 14 games for team that won BCS national title and caught 48 balls for 519 yards with five touchdowns and rushed eight times for 90 yards with another score…Led nation in punt return average (18.5) in ’03…Scored LSU’s first touchdown in national title game vs. Oklahoma on 24-yard run.
