PUNT, PASS AND KICK

Every year, millions of boys and girls from around the country take part in the Punt, Pass & Kick skills competition. The competition, which has been around since the 1960s, is FREE and open to boys and girls ages 8-15. Each year the Saints play host to the Team Championship level of competition taking place this year in the Louisiana Superdome.

JUNIOR PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

The NFL has developed an introductory/developmental youth tackle football program for boys 12-14. The program is designed to teach every participant, every position, through a step-by-step progression of skill instruction packaged in a re-adaptive, fun and entertaining manner. All participants receive instruction from NFL selected high school coaches from the local market.

All participants receive counseling through a life skills/character development curriculum to be incorporated throughout all on-field activities. Every week a different life skill message is designated as a theme for that particular week. Each theme is addressed through the context of football. Instructors will make connections between life skills as they are applied in football as well as other areas of life, especially school, at home and in the community.

NFL FLAG Football


NFL FLAG is the National Football League's premier youth football program for kids 6-14 years old. Available nationwide, including in all 32 NFL markets, NFL FLAG is a community-based turnkey program that provides all youth the opportunity to play in an organized NFL non-contact football league. Calling all kids! Get involved with the NFL's premier youth football program, NFL FLAG Football! Kids 6-14 are encouraged to sign up and play! Every team will receive official NFL team-identified footballs and every participant will receive their favorite NFL team-identified reversible jersey and official NFL FLAG belts. Registered teams are eligible to compete in the NFL FLAG Regional Tournaments in October. Winning teams from each age bracket from the Regional Tournaments are invited to participate in the National Tournament of Champions at DISNEY'S WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS Complex in Orlando, Fla. in November.
