Kierra, born in Opelousas, LA, is so excited for her fourth year as a New Orleans Saints Cheerleader! She is so grateful for this opportunity and excited for her fourth season!
Kierra started taking dance and gymnastics classes at the age of 3 at Gwen Reese School of dance (Natchitoches, LA) followed by Elite school of Dance (Baton Rouge, LA), and continued on at Dance Graphics in Lafayette, LA. She continued her gymnastics training at Mr. AJs Gym in Carencro, LA. When her parents decided to take a big move in middle school to Texas, she discovered her new passion in All Star cheerleading. She was on level 4/5 teams for both Rebel Yell All Stars and Team Texas. She also danced for the rival team as a Junior Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader for 3 years, even though she still bleeds black and gold! She graduated from Desoto High school in Desoto, TX.
Following in her moms footsteps, Kierra became a legacy cheerleader at Northwestern State University of Louisiana Kierra decided after college cheerleading she wanted to reach the next level of her cheer career. That next level was becoming a professional dancer or cheerleader! She has tried out for multiple NFL teams. Without giving up each year she got closer to her dreams. While training year round for tryouts she was also a semi-pro dancer for teams in the Dallas area. She was a Dallas Marshals Dancer for one season and Mesquite Outlaws Dancer for two seasons. When not cheering, Kierra is a full time Veterinary Technician and a high school cheer coach.
Kierra cannot wait to get back on to the field and cheer on her favorite team in the NFL! As her favorite movie states, "Dreams do come true in New Orleans". The movie Princess and the Frog is definitely a definition of Kierra's dreams coming true!
