Lainey will be stepping on the field for the first time this season as a member of the Saints Cheer Krewe. She is blessed to be chosen for this opportunity, and she would not be here today without continuous support from her family and friends.
Lainey has a strong desire to help those in need, and this is shown through her years of directly working with and serving those with autism. Lainey graduated from St. Amant high school where she cheered four years on their nationally ranked competitive cheer squad. She further pursued her cheering career along with her education at Southeastern Louisiana University. Lainey cheered on the Lions in various sports while training to compete nationally at the UCA College Nationals in Orlando, Florida. Her college cheering career consisted of winning a gold, silver, and bronze medal; as well as winning a national championship ring in their Gameday routine this past April.
As Lainey is wrapping up her prerequisites at Southeastern; she plans to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene at the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Lainey will be applying this November and is overly excited.
She says, "Being a part of the Saints Cheer Krewe has helped me grow as an individual, and I am thrilled to be a part of the NFL game day experience. I have kindled so many friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. I cannot wait to be cheering on the Saints and interacting with fans, and I wish the team good luck this season".
