Lakyn will be returning to the field for her third season as a member of the New Orleans Saints Cheer Krewe!Â
Lakyn is a graduate of Northwestern State University. While attending NSU, Lakyn was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity, President's List, Student Activities Board, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and Phi Kappi Phi Honor Society. She was also a 5-year member of the NSU Cheerleading Team, where she served as captain her last two years. She received her master's degree in Occupational Therapy at LSU Health.
In addition to cheerleading, Lakyn has a 16-year background of dance at Joan Kathey Dance Center. Here she was able to develop training in ballet, Pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, and Cechetti.
She currently lives in Baton Rouge, LA, and works as an occupational therapist for both the pediatric and adult populations. She is very passionate about working with individuals with disabilities, sicknesses, and injuries and helping them to improve and become as independent as possible in their daily lives.
Lakyn is thrilled to continue to fulfill her dream of cheering for the Saints. "I am looking forward to being back in the dome this season to cheer on our Saints and be a part of the electrifying atmosphere. One of my favorite parts of this job is that I am able to connect with other Saints fans and help make their experience memorable! What a blessing it is to share the field with some of the region's most talented individuals. This experience is something I will never forget and cherish forever!"
