Leo, a native of Guatemala, is a 2nd year member of the New Orleans Saints Cheer Krewe. Leo Graduated from Ridgewood Prep School in Metairie, LA. He received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama in 2006 and began his career in Health Promotion in 2007. He continued his studies and received a Masters in Arts Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2011. Leo began cheerleading in his sophomore year at Samford University. At age 43, Leo juggles family life with his wife, their 2 year old son, Cheerleading and his career as the Corporate Wellness Supervisor for Ochsner Health. Leo works with many groups to improve the health and wellness of their respective organizations. He has a passion with working with local Fire departments to provide wellness programming. Ever since Leo was a college cheerleader, he hoped that he would be able to cheer for the New Orleans Saints, his favorite football team since he came to the USA in early 80s. "I never thought the opportunity to cheer for the New Orleans Saints would be a reality, but I am thankful to have the chance to live that dream and be a part of this amazing organization"
