Madelynn will be entering the field as a first-time member of the New Orleans Saints Cheer Krewe this year. She is excited to see where this incredible opportunity leads her, and can't wait to feel the energy in the dome from the best fans in the NFL.
Madelynn attended high school at Bay High in Bay Saint Louis, MS, and continued her education with a bachelor's in Public Relations from Mississippi State University. Madelynn decided to move to New Orleans in August 2020 and her love for the city has grown immensely. Now, Madelynn has been doing small jobs around the city including coaching high school dance teams such as Ursuline. She is now working on opening her own small business here in the great city of New Orleans within the next year.
Madelynn has been dancing since she was four years old, she started her love for dance in the studio and eventually started competitively dancing when she was eight years old with The Dance Company in Diamond Head, MS. Madelynn continued her passion into high school where she performed and competed with the Bay High Steppers at BHS. Here she earned four state championship titles as well as getting the opportunity to be co-captain and captain of the team. Madelynn then attended Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, MS for one year where she danced on the Touch of Gold Dance Team, and then later, as a sophomore, attended MSU where she was on the dance team there. Madelynn is still in shock that she gets to call herself a member of the New Orleans Saints Cheer Krewe.
"I still find myself thinking that this is some kind of dream I'm living in, getting to cheer for my favorite team is a privilege that I don't take for granted. I can feel myself growing as a dancer and as a person every day being on this team with all of these amazing men and women supporting me. This is probably one of the most physically demanding teams I have ever been on, but it is so worth it at the end of the day. I am getting more and more excited as we are approaching football season. I really just can't wait to get on the field and cheer on the best team in the NFL. I can't wait to learn more from this team and see where this incredible year will take all of us."
