Mya is thrilled and thankful for the opportunity to exemplify the ability to represent the best team in the NFL as a first-year member of the New Orleans Saints Cheer Krewe!
She is a recent graduate of the University of South Alabama with an Exercise Science degree. During her years at South, she was a 4-year member of the University of South Alabama dance team, the prowlers. While a member of the team she served as captain for her final two years and was chosen to be a member of the student-athlete advisory committee for two years. Before becoming a prowler, Mya was working hard in the studio where she trained in various styles of dance. Elevation Dance Company was where she trained for multiple years, competed on the competition team, and then found her love for coaching straight out of high school. She was a member of the Baker High School dance team where she served as captain her senior year and received her honors diploma before attending the University of South Alabama right in her hometown.
Aside from being a future grad student, Mya has a passion for coaching children of all ages while also choreographing and coaching for competition teams. Not only is she pumped to be on the field in the Dome that contains unmatched energy but can't wait to engage with some of the best fans in the NFL!
