Samantha is ready and excited to begin her second year as a Saints Cheer Krewe member! She is a Cuban-American born and raised in Miami, Florida where she danced competitively growing up and always had a gift with performing. She originally moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelors of Arts in Dance. Her love of dance drew her to dance professionally during her undergraduate years and she became a New Orleans Pelicans dancer for three seasons. In addition to cheering on the Saints on game days, Samantha choreographs for local Latino under her brand, Sami D. Choreographi, where she has performed with Viva Nola Magazine at events around New Orleans. She is currently a medical student at Tulane University continuing her journey to fulfill her dream of one day becoming a physician. Samantha is very proud to be both a dancer and a future doctor and strives to inspire the following generation of dancing doctors to do the same.
