Sophia is excited to begin her first year as a Rookie member of the New Orleans Saints Cheer Krewe!
She is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and is an incoming M.D. candidate at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. While at LSU, Sophia was a member of the LSU Panhellenic Executive Council and Pi Beta Phi where she served in various leadership positions. During this time, she also worked for Universal Dance Association where she traveled all over the south teaching pom, hip-hop, kick, and jazz.
Before teaching for Universal Dance Association, she was a member of the Catholic High Bruinettes and St. Joseph's Academy Redsteppers high school dance teams. She received formal training in ballet, jazz, kick, hip-hop, technique, and tumbling at Tari's School of Dance.
Not only does she have a passion for health and wellness inside of the classroom, but outside of as well! She is also a group fitness instructor certified in teaching Barre and Versa climber classes.
