2017 season recap:
The Eagles took the NFL by a storm with quarterback Carson Wentz leading the charge as they started the season 10-2. Backup quarterback Nick Foles stepped up for Philadelphia and led the Eagles to a 13-3 record and the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs. Foles continued to impress through the playoffs, leading the Eagles to the Super Bowl. Philadelphia defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, 41-33, securing the first Super Bowl victory in franchise history.
