New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has been voted the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week for Week 4.
Kamara finished the Week 4 victory over the New York Giants with 19 carries for 134 yards and three touchdowns, including a nose-for-the-goal-line, 4-yarder and a back-breaking 49-yarder in the fourth quarter – and five catches for another 47 yards.
Other players nominated for the award were Ezekiel Elliott (Cowboys) and Kareem Hunt (Chiefs).
By winning the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Award, these players are also delivering for their communities. A $2,000 donation will be made to the USO in the names of each winner through FedEx Cares. During the 2018-2019 NFL season, FedEx Cares will donate a total of $200,000 through the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Awards Program to support USO Pathfinder and other programs that help service members transition back to civilian life.
