Hawthorne moved back to inside linebacker in 2013. Opening alongside Curtis Lofton in the middle of the 3-4 defense, Hawthorne opened up 15 of the 16 games he played in and was the club's second leading tackler with a career- high 128 stops (68 solo), three sacks, one pass defense, one forced fumble and three special teams stops.
Best Game: Had eight tackles, a sack and forced fumble in the New Orleans Saints' 35-17 Week 8 win against the Buffalo Bulls.
