Drew Brees wins FedEx Air Player of the Week award

Second time Brees has won the award this season

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees received the FedEx Air Player of the Week award Thursday following his outstanding performance vs. the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday.

Brees - who threw for 323 yards and three touchdowns in the 41-23 win over the San Francisco 49ers - beat out Giants quarterback Eli Manning and Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan for the honor.

Brees also won the award Week 6 of this season.
