Here are your Five Things to Know about the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday, Jan. 28:
1. The Saints season recaps continue with a recap of the Saints sack leader, defensive tackle Bryan Bresee. Stay tuned for highlights and photos of the second-year pro as well.
2. The Saints and Keesler Federal Credit Union will present a check to Covenant House New Orleans to conclude the Keesler Federal Kicks for Kids program for the year later in the day. With kicker Blake Grupe making 27 field goals, Keesler Federal Credit Union has pledged to give $27,000 to Covenant House. Stay tuned for photos from the presentation.
3. The Saints announced that the Mississippi High School Activities Association announced the sanctioning of girls flag football. The inaugural season begins in spring 2025.
4. The New Orleans Saints announced that they completed an in-person interview with Kellen Moore, the offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles, for the head coach position. They have previously completed in-person interviews with Mike Kafka, offensive coordinator of the New York Giants, and Anthony Weaver, defensive coordinator of the Miami Dolphins.
5. Saints center Erik McCoy was named to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. McCoy will replace Eagles center Cam Jurgens. This is the second consecutive year McCoy was selected for the Pro Bowl.
