Five Things to Know About the Saints for Saturday, May 4 | Gameday Playbook

 Saints Girls High School Flag Football season comes to a close with Championship Saturday at Joe Brown Park

Here are your Five Things to Know about the New Orleans Saints on Saturday, May 4:

1. The regular season came to a close of the inaugural season of Saints Girls High School Flag Football, but Championship Saturday begins at Joe Brown Park. NewOrleansSaints.com will have full coverage of the championship game with a recap of the events as well as photos and video.

2. Championship Saturday kicks off with McDonogh 35 vs. Sarah T. Reed and Sophie B. Wright vs. Willow starting at 10 a.m. At 11:10 a.m. East Jefferson vs. Lycee Francais and Bonnabel vs. West Jefferson will take place followed by lunch and a season celebration. At 1:45 p.m., De La Salle vs. 10 a.m. winner from Gold Division and Academy of Our Lady vs. 10 a.m. winner from Black Division occurs. Than the game culminates with the 3:30 p.m. championship game.

3. NewOrleansSaints.com will be curating the best photos of each of the 10 participating schools showcasing their team. Those galleries will be release throughout next week.

4. The Saints will host rookie minicamp next weekend at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center on May 10-12. Saints fans will get an exclusive first look at the incoming Saints rookie class on NewOrleansSaints.com when rookie minicamp begins and learn about the latest rookie class on Saints Draft Central presented by Cox.

5. Saints legend Steve Gleason released his new autobiography "A Life Impossible: Living with ALS: Finding Peace and Wisdom within a Fragile Existence." The book is available now.
