- During the 2017 season with the Saints fullback Zach Line had seven carries, 28 yards, two catches and one touchdown in the regular season. He also had another touchdown during the Saints Wild Card victory over the Carolina Panthers on January 7, 2018.
- Line attended SMU from 2009-2012 and signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2013 who he played with for four seasons.
- During his time at SMU, Line passed Eric Dickerson's SMU record for all-purpose yards.
- With a 6' 1" 230 lbs frame, Line finished third in the state of Michigan in high school wrestling.
- When asked about his blocking ability, Saints quarterback Drew Brees said, "He's doing awesome, and he's been a great addition. He really fits well in this locker room, and he can do a lot of things for us when he's on the field."
