Halftime update: Atlanta Falcons 17, New Orleans Saints 14

Final game of 2015 regular season

Atlanta - A late touchdown gave the Atlanta Falcons a 17-14 lead over the New Orleans Saints at halftime Sunday at the Georgia Dome in the final game of the 2015 season for both teams.

The Falcons took their lead on a 4-yard touchdown pass from Matt Ryan to running back Devonta Freeman with 26 seconds left in the half.

Earlier the Falcons scored on a 42-yard pass from Ryan to Tony Moeaki and a 51-yard field goal by Shayne Graham, a former Saints kicker. Ryan was 14 of 20 for 204 yards and two TD passes. Freeman carried the ball 14 times for 47 yards while Julio Jones had four receptions for 66 yards.

Saints running back Tim Hightower bulled his way into the end zone for a 1-yard score and tight end Benjamin Watson made a diving 13-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter.

Running back Travaris Cadet had a strong all-around effort in the first half. he caught four passes for 59 yards, ran the ball twice for five yards and had two excellent kickoff returns.

Brees was 17 of 21 for 183 yards and the touchdown. Hightower ran six times for 25 yards and the touchdown and had six receptions for 41 yards.

Defensive end Cameron Jordan blocked a 45-yard field-goal attempt by Graham in the second quarter.
