Junior Galette named NFC Defensive Player of the Week

Junior Galette had two sacks against the Carolina Panthers

New Orleans Saints LB Junior Galette has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.

It's the first time Galette has won the NFL weekly award.

The Saints captain had four total tackles (three solo), two sacks (11 yards lost) and a forced fumble in the 28-10 win over the Panthers on Thursday.
