Mark Ingram named NFC Offensive Player of the Week

He scored two touchdowns in blowout win over Rams

New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday following his exceptional performance in Sunday's 49-21 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

Ingram scored two touchdowns - one on a 10-yard run, the other on a 21-yard reception - and he ran for 146 yards on just 14 carries (10.4 yards per carry). For the season he has 721 yards on 136 carries with threee touchdowns. He also has added 30 receptions for 248 yards and four touchdowns.
