Despite missing four contests with ankle, knee and hand injuries, David Hawthorne finished with 112 tackles (65 solo), one interception, three sacks and six passes defensed, while adding one special teams stop in 2014. He reached 100-stop totals for the fifth time in his career and his second consecutive season as a Saint and second overall.

This is our life, it's our job, our life, our profession so everything we have is poured into this. This game has given us everything we have so when we don't succeed it hurts."
