The New Orleans Saints registered the highest local TV market rating of all NFL cities last week, earning a 58.2 household rating in New Orleans for the Panthers game Sunday night.
The 58.2 rating was 10 points higher than any other NFL city.
The Saints-Panthers game was the second-most watched show (19.1 million viewers) on TV last week, behind the NFL on FOX national telecast block (27.6 million viewers) on Sunday afternoon.
An NFL game has topped the viewership charts in all 14 weeks this season.
Along with New Orleans, an NFL game was the highest-rated show in 27 of 30 NFL markets last week.
