  • 2024 – Isaiah Adams:
    Selected by the Arizona Cardinals out of Illinois, Adams played in 15 games in his first NFL season including starting the final five contests at right guard for Arizona.
  • 2023 – Kendre Miller:
    Miller has been limited by injuries since the New Orleans Saints drafted him from TCU. Miller played in 14 games, two starts, and recorded 80 carries for 304 yards and two touchdowns as well as 15 receptions for 150 yards.
  • 2022 – Velus Jones Jr.:
    Jones signed with the Saints ahead of the 2025 season after he was drafted by the Chicago Bears out of Tennessee. Over three seasons, Jones has played in 29 games, two starts, with the Bears and Carolina Panthers playing running back and wide receiver and attempted 20 carries for 165 yards and a touchdown and catching 12 passes for 135 yards and a touchdown. Jones also has fielded five punts for 35 yards and 40 kickoffs for 1,061 yards and made five special team tackles. Jones also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
  • 2021 – Aaron Robinson:
    Robinson played in 11 games, four starts, over two seasons with the New York Giants after his draft selection from Central Florida. He recorded 32 tackles (21 solo) and four passes defensed before suffering two torn ligaments in his knee in October 2022 before he was waived after he failed his physical in July 2024.
  • 2020 – Nnamdi Madubuike:
    A two-time Pro Bowler who earned All-Pro Second Team honors in 2023, Madubuike has became a stalwart presence for the Baltimore Ravens' defensive line after he was selected from Texas A&M. He has played in 76 games, 64 starts, over five seasons with the Ravens and recorded 196 tackles (119 solo), 28.0 sacks, six passes defensed and two forced fumbles. He played in seven playoff games, five starts, and tallied 25 tackles (11 solo), 3.0 sacks and two pass deflections.
  • 2019 – Dre'Mont Jones:
    Jones has played in 90 games, 52 starts, over six seasons with the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks after he was drafted from Ohio State. He has registered 210 tackles (116 solo), 30.5 sacks, one interception, seven passes defensed, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Jones signed with the Tennessee Titans ahead of the 2025 season.
  • 2018 – Royce Freeman:
    Over six seasons with the Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans and Las Angeles Rams, Freeman played in 79 games, nine starts, and accumulated 471 carries for 1,792 yards and 10 touchdowns as well as 86 receptions for 532 yards and a touchdown. Freeman also spent time with the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears.
  • 2017 – Dan Feeney:
    Feeney played in 120 games, 65 starts, over eight seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers, New York Jets, Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings. Feeney also spent time with the Miami Dolpins.
  • 2016 – Darian Thompson:
    Thompson played in 63 games, 28 starts, over six seasons with the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys tallying 173 tackles (123 solo), two interceptions, 10 pass deflections, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and 1.5 sacks.
  • 2015 – Hroniss Grasu:
    Grasu played in 33 games, 17 starts, over seven seasons with the Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers and Las Vegas Raiders. Grasu also spent time with the Tennessee Titans and Miami Dlphins.

SAINTS THIRD ROUND SELECTION HISTORY

The Saints used the 71st overall pick three times before in franchise history, selecting tight end Hobe Brenner in the third round of the 1981 NFL Draft, selecting defensive end Joel Smeenge in the third round of the 1990 NFL Draft and selecting running back Kendre Miller in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft. The Saints used four third-round selections in the last five drafts. With those selections, the Saints selected:
