Running back Pierre Thomas was released by the New Orleans Saints last week. The eight-year veteran posted a heartfelt message to the New Orleans Saints and their fans on his social media accounts:
"I want to thank the New Orleans Saints organization, all my coaches, my teammates and the Who Dat Nation for an amazing adventure. I have so many wonderful memories I will never forget. I am thankful to have spent the past 8 years in the great city of New Orleans! As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end but I'm not done yet."
