Vice President and General Manager of the Royal Sonesta Hotel, Alfred L. Groos, announces today that the prestigious French Quarter hotel will serve as the "Presenting Sponsor" of the New Orleans Saintsations for the 2009/2010 NFL season.
The Saintsations entertain fans during every Saints game and are an indispensable and beloved component of a complete game-day experience. The official cheerleading team is collectively involved with a number of non-profit organizations, which benefit and enrich our New Orleans community.

The public is invited to take part in a traditional New Orleans' Second-Line Parade, which rolls through the French Quarter at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening September 2.Members of the Saintsations, "Gumbo",the official New Orleans Saints team mascot,*and WDSU Television's Sports AnchorFletcher Mackel will participate in the parade led by theStoryville Stompers Brass Band.*
Saints' fans are encouraged to cheer the Saintsations on along the official parade route which begins at Conti and Bourbon, rolls up Conti to St. Louis, turns on St. Louis to Dauphine, down Dauphine to Iberville, turning on Bourbon to the Royal Sonesta Hotel's main entrance.
