The Saints Facilities staff spent Wednesday afternoon updating the outdoor practice fields at the team's facility on Airline Drive.
The staff aerated the field, which loosens any compacted soil allowing water and nutrients to reach the roots.
The procedure is done twice a year, at the start of spring and in the middle of the summer, in preparation for training camp.
