Cam Jordan remembers his first NFL season opener like it was yesterday. "At Green Bay," Jordan said with no hesitation when asked about that Sept. 8, 2011, game on Wednesday. "I played with a big brace on my knee, because I sprained my (medial collateral ligament) in the preseason game on Oakland. We lost on the final play, Mark Ingram trying to get a touchdown on the goal line."

Taysom Hill said the greatest sign of respect is the respect he earns from his peers. So when the New Orleans Saints tight end submitted his vote for this year's captains, and he learned the results at a team dinner Monday, he was honored that he was part of the group.

The New Orleans Saints ruled out four players and listed three others as questionable for Sunday's season opener against the Carolina Panthers. Defensive tackle Khalen Saunders (calf), linebacker D'Marco Jackson (calf), linebacker Jaylan Ford (hamstring), and tight end Dallin Holker (ankle).

Nine New Orleans Saints players were listed on Friday's Injury Report for the team's Week 1 game against the Carolina Panthers during the 2024 NFL season.

The New Orleans Saints aren't the only ones unveiling a new, revamped offense in the season opener at the Caesars Superdome. Just as much on Sunday the Panthers will be doing the same, with first-year head coach Dave Canales months into the job after last having served as offensive coordinator for Tampa Bay.
