New Orleans Saints coach Dennis Allen said Friday that cornerback Paulson Adebo will miss the rest of the season after he underwent surgery for a broken femur. Adebo was carted off in the second quarter of Thursday's 33-10 loss to the Denver Broncos. New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr is expected to begin throwing again Saturday as he tries to return from an oblique injury, coach Dennis Allen said Friday. Allen said it's soon to tell if Carr would be ready for next week's game against the Los Angeles Chargers, but added it's "very likely" the quarterback will be healthy in time for New Orleans' Nov. 3 game against the Carolina Panthers. Sometime in the fourth quarter of the New Orleans Saints' fifth consecutive loss, Alvin Kamara took in the sights and sounds and did not like what his eyes and ears were telling him. Most of the Saints fans who had been in the building had found a better use for their time at that point. The lower bowl of the Caesars Superdome was overtaken with orange and blue, and the only consistent noise from the remaining crowd were "Let's go Broncos" cheers. See More >>
