When Rashid Shaheed landed on the New Orleans Saints injury report earlier this week with a hip injury, it looked like the team might've been forced to try and overcome yet another injury to an important offensive player. But Shaheed allayed some of those fears Thursday when speaking from the Saints locker room. "I'll be all good," Shaheed said. "Just trying to take care of this hip. By the time game time comes around I'll be alright." See More >>
A New Orleans Saints team that has dealt with mostly bad injury news this season saw a bit of a positive bump Thursday. While there were still six players who did not practice in Thursday's session, four were upgraded: Running back Alvin Kamara (hip/hand), wide receiver Rashid Shaheed (hip) and defensive end Payton Turner (knee) were all limited participants after missing Wednesday's practice, and linebacker Willie Gay (hand) was a full participant.
