New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced Thursday that the club has re-signed long snapper Jason Kyle to a one-year contract.
Kyle, a veteran of 15 NFL seasons, joined the Saints as a free agent last June after playing eight seasons with the Carolina Panthers. The 6-3, 242-pound former college linebacker at Arizona State snapped in all 16 games for the Saints in 2009 as well as the three postseason contests, making two tackles on special teams. He has now played in 194 career games and hasn't missed a game in nine seasons, totaling 57 special teams tackles with two fumble recoveries.
