The New Orleans Saints hosted a group of 25 youth football coaches and administrators on Saturday, February 26, as part of the annual Saints and USA Football State Forum. The event is part of the club's longtime commitment to supporting the sport at the youth and high school levels throughout the Gulf Coast region.
As part of the forum, youth coaches and administrators from the entire region and members of the club's youth programs department met in the Saints team auditorium for several hours. The parties discussed various issues affecting the sport at these levels regarding academics, discipline, workout regimens and practice schedules, traded ideas as well as discussed successful practices in running successful youth football programs. The Saints youth programs group also discussed the ways in which the club and his department supports youth football as well as talking to the coaches about their importance in helping develop tomorrow's top student-athletes.
