Coach Sean Payton said after Friday's practice that he expects quarterback Drew Brees will start Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome,
Brees was inactive for last Sunday's game at the Carolina Panthers with a shoulder injury. It was the first time Brees had missed a game due to injury in his 15-year NFL career.
In 2015, Drew Brees is 54-86 for 610 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions with a 83.2 quarterback rating.
