Tackle Zach Strief was selected as the Morton's the Steakhouse Community Player of the Game at last Sunday's home game versus the Panthers. Each year, Strief makes countless visits to local schools and hospitals in the Greater New Orleans area. He also participates in several annual community events including Saints Pep Rallies held at Magnolia Adult School (which provides assistance to mentally challenged adults) and the Players' Turkey Giveaway at the Dryades YMCA where at least 1,000 families receive a turkey and a bag of groceries with all the holiday fixings. As part of the Saints' offensive linemen's charitable organization, OL4NO, Strief also distributes bicycles and helmets for underprivileged kids at their yearly Christmas Bike Giveaway.
