Former New Orleans Saints and current Miami Dolphins tackle Terron Armstead will be inducted to the Senior Bowl Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
A third-round pick, 75th overall, in the 2013 NFL Draft, Armstead would play nine seasons with the Saints starting 93 games at left tackle and would earn three Pro Bowl honors as well as a second team All-Pro selection in 2018.
"Coming from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, every step of the pre-draft process was extremely important for me," Armstead said. "I came straight from the East West Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl was the final stamp of validity I felt that I needed. The opportunity to compete with the best of the best coming out of college gave me the eyes and exposure I needed, and the confidence, as well. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to showcase my abilities as a young man, and I am truly honored to be inducted into the Senior Bowl Hall of Fame alongside these greats of this class."
Armstead will be inducted alongside former Cincinnati Bengals defensive lineman and Senior Bowl 75th Anniversary Team Member Geno Atkins (2010), former Las Vegas Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Coach Jon Gruden (most recent Senior Bowl head coach in 2019), former Atlanta Falcons center Alex Mack (2009), and former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman (2011).
"We are thrilled to welcome each member of the 2025 Senior Bowl Hall of Fame back to the Mobile area, where their remarkable careers began," said Mobile Arts and Sports Association President Scott Cooper. "It is truly an honor to celebrate the achievements of outstanding Senior Bowl alums year after year. This year's class is especially unique, and we are grateful that the Senior Bowl played a pivotal role in launching their journeys."
The inductees and as well as the Senior Bowl 2024 Rookies of the Year will be honored at the induction ceremony at the Grand Hotel Golf Club & Spa in Point Clear, Alabama on Sunday, May 4.
