Terry McDermott is a Scottish-born recording artist who came to the United States with his band Driveblind when they were signed to a record deal with Geffen Records.
In 2012, he went solo to blind auditions for season 3 of NBC's The Voice. He survived when three of the four judges turned their chairs, ultimately joining Team Blake Shelton. As a part of The Voice, McDermott was able to perform in front of 15 million television viewers every week and was the runner-up for the season.
Following his appearance on the television show, Terry has released three singles via iTunes, with two of the first three going to No. 1 on the rock charts. Terry currently resides in New Orleans with his family, and his band the Bonfires will release their first U.S. full recording this spring. Terry McDermott and the Bonfires will be performing at the House of Blues on December 19.
