Racquel Smith, the widow of former New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith, accepted a posthumous degree from the University of Miami on Thursday, May 5. Will Smith was studying for his MBA at the University of Miami before being killed in New Orleans in April.
Racquel accepted the degree from a wheelchair, as she is recovering from gunshot wounds to her legs she suffered during the incident that killed her husband.
