The holiday commemorates a specific date- June 19th 1865,the day federal troops arrived in Texas. General Granger 's arrival in Galveston, TX signaled freedom insured some 250,000 enslaved were free. And although we've come far from shackles and being enslaved! we still have a ways to go on the road of justice and holding moral standards to everyone, HAPPY Juneteenth!

Drew Brees: With many of our donations through the COVID crisis we have been able to establish facilities and programs that will last far beyond the existing need. We are excited to announce a new Second Harvest Food Bank kitchen in partnership with Catholic Charities of Acadiana in Lafayette, LA that will allow us to produce 15,800 meals per week for children, families, and seniors in need, as well as the homeless throughout southwest Louisiana!

Roman Harper: Welcome to this crazy crazy world son. Seoul Chankoowashtay Harper 8lbs 5oz 21inches long. You're already so perfect in all of our eyes. You complete our family. This little guy is something special. Heather labored for 12+ hours. Way longer than any other child. Humbling bc no matter what we plan as adults and people it still remains up to God and His will. God this is your child. Seoul I already know you will be stubborn, smart, aware of things that nobody else will see or understand, and that things will somehow always be done on your terms. This dude was not having it. He came into this world on his terms and after what I witnessed I don't think that's going to change anytime soon. Son I love you already more than words can explain. My first piece of advice and I will continue to preach this to you until my last breathe. Trust in the faith the Lord has blessed with in you and NO MATTER WHAT you do "don't ever lose your name to anything on this earth." If you do that the world will be yours and all of its treasures. Seoul be exactly what God has destined you for.
