Douglas Miller enters his 32nd season in the National Football League and his 17th campaign with the New Orleans Saints, where he is responsible for the team's day-to-day communications and public relations efforts. Miller joined the Saints staff in 2006 after 15 seasons with the New York Jets, where he served in a variety of roles, including his last four as director of public relations. He began his career in 1991 as an intern in the Jets' department before being hired full-time. Miller's worked 13 Super Bowls, numerous AFC Championship games and has served on a variety of committees and working with the Super Bowl and NBA All-Star game committees.
The Pittsburgh, Pa. native first served as a student assistant in the Sports Information Department at the University of Pittsburgh as an undergraduate in the late 1980's. He completed his Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York. Miller resides on the Northshore with his wife, Carolyn. They have one son, Tyler and one daughter, Lauren.
