NFL CAREER –This veteran tight end enters his eighth NFL season and first with the Black and Gold. For his career, the former Iowa standout has appeared in 110 regular season games with 90 starts, recording 334 receptions for 3,593 yards (10.8 avg.) with 18 touchdowns and has posted at least 30 receptions in each of the last seven seasons (2019-25), one of only eight active tight ends in the NFL to do so. In 2025, Fant served as an effective red zone threat for the Cincinnati Bengals, when he made 34 receptions for 288 yards with three touchdowns. Fant brings a rare combination of size, speed and strength to the Saints air attack in 2026.

Tennessee, Sept. 14, in season opener, led the Broncos with five receptions for a club-best 81 yards (16.2 avg.) with a nine-yard touchdown. 2019 – Played in all 16 games with 11 starts as a rookie, ranking second on the team in yards per reception (14.1), receiving touchdowns (three) and receiving yards (562) on 40 grabs which ranked third on club…Selected to the PFWA All-Rookie Team...became just the sixth rookie tight end in league history with multiple 100-yard receiving games...Vs. COLLEGE – Saw action in 36 games with 14 starts at Iowa, totaling 78 receptions for 1,083 yards (13.9 avg.) with 19 TDs during collegiate career (2016-18)…Appeared in 12 games with seven starts during his junior season, finishing with 39 catches for 519 yards (13.3 avg.) with seven touchdowns. Selected as a third-team All-American by the AP and first-team All-Big Ten Conference honoree as a John Mackey Award (nation's top tight end) semifinalist. Helped Hawkeyes to a 8-4 regular season record…Started seven of 13 games played as a sophomore, tying for the most receiving touchdowns by a tight end in NCAA FBS (11), while setting an Iowa single-season record by a tight end.
