Five things to know about new Saints defensive end Trey Hendrickson

In high school, Hendrickson tallied three interceptions and blocked two punts as well as eight extra point attempts.
While at Florida Atlantic, Hendrickson was named Conference USA Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.
Hendrickson finished his senior season number one nationally in blocked kicks (4), number 21 in sacks (.79 per game) and number 32 in tackles for a loss.
He was honored as his team's MVP at its season-ending banquet his senior year.
Hendrickson majored in criminal justice at Florida Atlantic.
