NewOrleansSaints.com: How do you feel about the defensive additions especially on the defensive line?

Antwan Lake: "There is a big emphasis on stopping the run this year, as well as getting to the quarterback. Last year we had a pretty difficult time doing both, so that's why we made additions getting people like Bobby McCray and Sedrick Ellis to plug up those holes."

NewOrleansSaints: What advice have you given to rookies like Orien Harris and Sedrick Ellis?

Antwan Lake: "You can never stop working on the little things. The little things like fundamentals are what keep you in this league. I was an undrafted free agent with the Detroit Lions and the number one thing that I've done to stay in the game is polishing my fundamentals. Always study the playbook and remember your plays."

NewOrleansSaints.com: You were a Liberal Arts major at West Virginia. What would you be doing for a career if you didn't play football?

Antwan Lake: "I'm actually going to culinary school in the off-season to become a chef. I like to learn about different arts with cooking."

NewOrleansSaints.com: What do you feel that you bring to this team?

Antwan Lake: "I feel I bring good depth to the defensive lineup. I'm a little slimmer than the others, therefore I'm a little faster than the other linemen. So I feel that I can bring speed and elusiveness to the pass rush."

NewOrleansSaints.com: What are your personal goals for this year?

Antwan Lake: "The first priority is to make this team. I want to become a more complete player. I want to be a better run-stopper, along with developing my skills as a pass rusher."
