"Linebacker may not stand out as the most important position of need for the New Orleans Saints this offseason, but that could change quickly. Both Manti Te'o and A.J. Klein will hit the open market this offseason while Demario Davis, Craig Robertson, Kiko Alonso and Alex Anzalone will all be free agents after the 2020 season. Finding talent at the off-ball linebacker position will be important for New Orleans this offseason. Patrick Queen is an incredibly athletic linebacker prospect who consistently shines in space. He is a legitimate sideline-to-sideline defender who sheds blocks well and quickly closes on the ball carrier. Queen also shows plenty of ability in coverage, reading the quarterback extremely well and locking down the middle of the field in short zone coverage. Queen was not asked to do much in man coverage, but he certainly has plenty of upside in that area as well."

"If there is one thing the Saints' offense needs, it's a consistent outside threat to take pressure off All-Pro receiver Michael Thomas. Ruggs' exceptional speed ( 4.27 40 at the combine) will scare all defenses and create space for other weapons in New Orleans' arsenal."

"New Orleans lands a really good football player at a position of need. Fulton gets a little handsy downfield and that will need to be cleaned up or the NFL will do it for him. Jefferson had 13 touchdowns on passes of 10-plus air yards in 2019 (second-most in FBS)."
