New Orleans Saints select Rick Leonard with No. 127 pick

Leonard was a big part of Dalvin Cook's record-breaking season

The New Orleans Saints selected Florida State right tackle Rick Leonard on Saturday in the fourth round with the 127th pick in the draft. Leonard, 6 feet 7, 311 pounds, was a steady presence at right tackle for the Seminoles after switching from defensive line midway through his career. He was a big part of helping Dalvin Cook break Florida State's single season rushing record in 2016.

Leonard started all 13 games at right tackle for Florida State in 2017. He helped running back Cam Akers and Jacques Patrick total 1,772 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground.

Leonard finished his career with a 7-1 record against rivals Miami and Florida.
