The 2018 season marked the Jaguars' second under head coach Doug Marrone. The Jaguars had hopes of improving on their 10–6 campaign from 2017 but a seven-game losing streak ended prevented that from happening. Running back Leonard Fournette finished with 133 carries for just 439 yards and five touchdowns in eight games due to injury, while quarterback Blake Bortles had a turbulent year, throwing for 2,718 yards, 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 13 games. After losing to the Tennessee Titans in Week 14, the Jaguars fell to 4–9 and were officially eliminated from postseason contention. They finished 5–11, in last place in the AFC South.
