Biography

NFL CAREER – After being selected with the 146th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Minnesota, Jordan Howden provided the New Orleans defense with quality depth in the secondary and on special teams. The 6-foot, 209-pound defender stepped in early in his rookie season and gave the Black and Gold defense quality reps at the safety position. The Southern California native appeared in 16 games in his rookie campaign with seven starts, finishing with 43 tackles (23 solo), one sack, one QB hurry, five pass breakups, and a forced fumble. Heading into his second season, Howden is expected to compete for snaps at safety and provide quality special teams play.
