The New Orleans Saints will host the Carolina Panthers in Week 1 on September 8, 2024 at noon on FOX. The Saints will open their season at the Caesars Superdome for the second consecutive year with New Orleans having won its last five season openers. The contest will also be the first time the Saints have opened against a division opponent since they defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 34-23 in the 2020 season opener.
Carolina's Dave Canales will be making his head coaching debut for the Panthers, marking the first time the Saints have played a team with its head coach making a Week One debut since they defeated the Detroit Lions and Jim Schwartz 45-27 in the 2009 season opener.
